No Socks RPG Battle Point Builds
How to spend BP on each party member so Normal mode stops feeling like a 1v4 ambush simulator.
Battle points (BP) are No Socks RPG’s permanent stat budget. Spicyfuse built Normal difficulty around BP balancing — developer comments on itch.io explicitly tell struggling players to use easy mode until they understand allocation. BP nodes enhance attack, defense, speed, healing, and special scaling for Socks and each monster-girl recruit.
This page recommends practical spreads aligned with Party Members Ranked tiers. Adjust if your playstyle favors stun locks over burst damage.
How BP works
BP accrues through leveling and key story rewards. Open the battle-point menu on PC to assign nodes per character. Mobile/APK caveat: as of community reports, the BP menu may not fully function on Android — Spicyfuse advises easy difficulty there because you cannot rebalance stats manually.
Each character maintains a separate tree. Points spent on Bitsy do not buff Socks. Swap your active ally in the field menu before allocating if you dumped points into the wrong recruit.
Badges — collectible passives — stack multiplicatively with BP. Easy mode buffs badge potency, which indirectly makes conservative BP spreads viable.
Socks — flexible glass cannon
Socks always fights, so her tree is the first investment.
Early Normal (levels 1–15):
- Priority 1: Attack nodes for timed-chain damage
- Priority 2: Speed nodes so she acts before 1v3 ambush packs
- Priority 3: Light HP/defense — one branch only
Mid-game: Balance attack and special scaling once Lady Risque joins; Socks can shift toward setup turns while Risque bursts.
Easy mode: Minimum BP on Socks — badges carry you. Spend leftovers on flavor nodes if you enjoy overkill.
Socks’ outfit collection does not alter BP, but stronger Socks clears outfit bosses faster — see Getting Started for timed-attack basics.
Bitsy — stun tank healer
Bitsy stabilizes unfair early encounters. Her low attack stat misleads players — BP into stun and multi-target control outvalues raw damage until late game.
Recommended spread:
- 40% stun/control nodes (multi-enemy fights are the design’s punchline)
- 35% healing and HP
- 25% attack — enough to finish weakened foes during stun windows
Synergy: Pair with Socks chaining timed attacks on stunned targets. In 100 Floors of Despair, this spread reduces wipe risk on long floors.
Avoid: Full attack glass Bitsy — she lacks Risque’s special multiplier and dies to focus fire.
Lady Risque — special burst DPS
Lady Risque is the meta damage dealer. Community guides describe her special attack deleting enemy HP — BP should amplify that identity.
Recommended spread:
- 50% special attack / magic scaling nodes
- 30% speed — she must act before squads overwhelm Socks
- 20% HP — minimal insurance
Normal mode tip: If fights feel impossible before Risque joins, you are under-leveled on Socks/Bitsy — revisit earlier zones rather than forcing Risque to carry under-allocated stats.
Outfit farming: This build clears robot patrols guarding swimsuits fastest. Link to Scene Unlock Requirements when farming for romance scenes.
Frankie — cleanup heavy hitter
Frankie rewards patient BP investment in single-target burst, but her slow speed demands setup.
Recommended spread:
- 45% raw attack / crit-style nodes
- 30% HP and defense — she tanks hits while winding up
- 25% speed — mitigate turn-order pain
When to invest: After Risque and Bitsy are functional. Frankie is a B-tier luxury on Normal, stronger on easy mode where enemies skip extra turns.
Combat role: Enter fights after Bitsy stuns, use Frankie to delete boss phases. Swap her out for Risque during trash packs.
Badge pairing cheat sheet
| Character | Badge focus | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Socks | Timed-attack bonus | Extends chain windows |
| Bitsy | Stun duration / heal | Multi-enemy lockdown |
| Lady Risque | Special damage | Core burst identity |
| Frankie | Attack / counter | Cleanup turns |
Easy mode inflates badge values — treat badges as half your build on casual runs.
Respec and second-playthrough notes
No Socks RPG lacks a full respec button in early versions. Plan spreads before spending. Second playthroughs on easy mode can experiment with Frankie-heavy builds for love-interest scene speedruns without combat stress.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers to the most common questions.
What are battle points in No Socks RPG?
BP is the stat allocation system for Socks and each recruit. Normal mode assumes you distribute points through the BP menu on PC to survive scaling enemy groups.
Can I reset battle points?
Full respec support is limited. Plan builds using this guide before spending, or run easy mode on a second file to experiment freely.
Why can't I open the BP menu on mobile?
Android players report broken BP menus. Spicyfuse recommends easy difficulty on mobile until menu support ships — combat auto-balances there.
Which character should get BP first?
Invest Socks early for damage and speed, then Bitsy for stun/healing on Normal, then Lady Risque for burst. Frankie comes last unless you prefer heavy-hit gameplay.
