Gallery Mode and Bestiary Guide

The August 2, 2026 update (build 24516931) introduced two long-requested features to No Socks RPG: Gallery Mode and an expanded Bestiary with lore entries. Together they serve as an in-game archive of everything Socks has accomplished, encountered, and unlocked across the Magical Isles.

This guide covers how to access both systems, what content they contain, and how to use them for completionist tracking.

Gallery Mode becomes accessible after completing the hospital chapter where Bitsy joins your party permanently. Return to the resort lobby — a new interaction point appears near the fast-travel node, marked by a subtle glow that community members have described as a “resort desk” or “reception” area.

Once unlocked, Gallery Mode is accessible from the main menu at any time, making it a persistent archive rather than a one-time viewing.

The gallery indexes three categories of unlocked content:

Character artwork — Every CG illustration and character portrait that Socks has unlocked through scene completion. This includes both the standard wardrobe variants and the spicier outfits from late-game content. Artwork is organized by character, with Socks receiving the most entries.

Scene archive — A replayable index of all adult scenes triggered through outfit and story progression. Scenes are labeled by trigger condition (outfit type plus beach guy or group event), making it easier to identify which scene you may have missed on a previous playthrough.

Behind-the-scenes sketches — The August 2026 patch added new concept-sketch style artwork beyond the initial release. These are viewable but not tied to specific unlock conditions — they are rewards for players who check back after each major update.

Current known limitations

As of the August 2026 patch, Gallery Mode shows static artwork only. Full animated scene replay is not yet available. The Spicyfuse development team acknowledged this gap in the official patch notes and listed animated replay on the Future Content Roadmap.

Additionally, some H-scenes added in the New H-Scenes Update are not yet reflected in the gallery index due to a scene-parity tracking issue. Community members report this affects primarily the Spooky Gals trio (Bitsy, Risque, Frankie) scenes unlocked through recent content patches.

The Bestiary system

The Bestiary predates Gallery Mode but received a significant expansion in the August 2026 update. Every enemy type in No Socks RPG now has a dedicated bestiary entry accessible through Gallery Mode or the main menu bestiary tab.

Each entry includes:

  • Enemy name and type classification
  • HP, attack, and defense statistics
  • Weakness and resistance data — critical for timed chain exploitation
  • Lore paragraph — backstory, personality notes, and ecosystem context for the enemy within the Magical Isles world
  • Drop table — what items and gear the enemy can drop when defeated

The lore component was the most-requested addition before the August patch. Previously, players had no in-game information about why certain ghost types appeared in specific zones or what the robot enemies were manufactured to do within the story’s world.

Using bestiary data for combat

The weakness and resistance data in bestiary entries directly informs timed combat strategy. Ghost-type enemies consistently show resistance to physical attacks and weakness to special attacks — useful for deciding whether to allocate BP toward Risque’s SPC scaling or Frankie’s raw ATK.

Robot enemies in the factory zones tend to have high DEF but predictable attack patterns. The bestiary flags these patterns as “factory-programmed aggression” in their lore text, helping players understand why robots in those zones favor heavy single-target hits over crowd-control moves.

Scene completion tracking

The gallery’s scene archive serves a practical completionist function: if you are working through a 100% run using our Outfit Checklist tool, cross-referencing gallery entries helps identify which love-interest scenes you have triggered versus which remain locked.

A scene appearing in the gallery with a thumbnail means it has been viewed at least once on the current save file. A missing entry means either the trigger condition was not met or the scene is part of content added after your last playthrough.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

How do I unlock Gallery Mode in No Socks RPG?

Complete the hospital chapter where Bitsy joins permanently, then return to the resort lobby. A new interaction point appears near the fast-travel node that unlocks gallery access from the main menu.

Can I replay animated scenes from the gallery?

No. Gallery Mode currently shows static artwork only. Full animated scene replay is listed on the Future Content Roadmap as a planned addition.

Why are some Bitsy, Risque, and Frankie scenes missing from the gallery?

A scene-parity tracking issue means some H-scenes added in recent updates are not yet indexed in the gallery. This is a known issue documented in the August 2026 patch notes.

Does the bestiary show enemy weaknesses?

Yes. Every bestiary entry includes weakness and resistance data, plus a lore paragraph describing the enemy's backstory and ecosystem role within the Magical Isles.
